Not far behind you is St Annes then Lytham and all of the borough of Fylde. Head north beyond the Pleasure Beach into Blackpool – it’s yours to explore and enjoy! Further north you’ll reach the quieter towns of Cleveleys and Fleetwood.

    It’s got to be on everyone’s list of the best things to do on the Fylde Coast! The Greatest Free Lightshow on earth shines every night until 4 November 2018. Find the daily lighting up times here.

  2. Carnival of Lights featuring the Illuminated Tram Parade
    Another amazing event that you DON’T want to miss! Get yourself trimmed up with fairy lights and festoons and head to the Comedy Carpet on 25 October 2018. All of the Illuminated Heritage Trams will travel in convoy, accompanied by a performers and lights displays galore! It’s an event for everyone – come and join the party.

  3. Illuminations Exhibitions at Grundy Art Gallery
    Three exhibitions make up the autumn 2018 programme, on show until 15 December. They are Grayson Perry tapestries, a short film about the Lights and a curated collection from the Illuminations archive.

  4. Halloween SPOOKtober at Farmer Parr’s
    Lots of Halloween events take place each year – you’ll find many of them in our events calendar. Halloween at Farmer Parr’s has got to be the absolutely spookiest… mwwaaaahhhh! Dare you enter the Terror Tunnel? Will you meet one of the things that go bump in the night? Every day from 13-28 October.
